I. How to Pass the Security Check Quickly

1.Please learn in details and strictly comply with the civil aviation flight safety knowledge and regulations.

2.Please do not try to pack any articles that are prohibited by civil aviation into your checked baggage, carry-on baggage and personal belongings.

3.consult the airline company of your flight in advance if you carry “San Chao”(oversized, over-length or overweight) items with you. For passengers holding Business Class or Economy Class tickets, each one of them can only carry one item, the size of which shall not exceed 20*40*55 cm. For passengers holding Top Class tickets, each one of them can carry 2 items.

4. Please prepare in advance of your boarding check, tickets (passengers holding electronic tickets excluded) and valid boarding passport when under certificate inspection, and hand in to the certificate inspector for inspection.

5.Please take out your PC and standby battery, umbrella and liquid articles from your luggage and make them go through the X-ray machine inspection.

6.Please take the metal items (such as cell phone, keys, watch and cigarettes) out from your belongings, so as to make it convenient for them to go through security check.

7.Kindling materials (lighters, matches and etc) are prohibited in carry-on baggage and checked baggage.

II. Valid Boarding Certificates Include the Following:

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security of PRC and Civil Aviation Administration, valid boarding certificates are divided into the following 4 categories:

1. Residential Identity

Residential Identity and temporary Resident Identity for mainland China;

2. Military Certificates

Army Identity Card, Armed Officer Card, Soldier Card, Army Civilian Cadres Card, Retired Army Cadres Card, Army Staff Card and Student Card, etc.

3.  Passports

Passports, Home Return Permit, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Travel Pass, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, Taiwan Travel Permit for Mainland Residents, Residence Permit for Foreigners, Alien's Exit-Entry Permit, Diplomats Card, Consulate General Card and Sailor Card, etc.

4.  Other Valid Boarding Certificates

1 NPC Delegate Card, CPPCC Member Card;

2 Representatives attending congress of party representatives at national, provincial, municipality and direct-controlled municipality level, National People’s Congress (NPC), CPPCC, Labor, Youth, Women and Model Worker Representatives, can board with temporary identity certificate issued by the competent department of the party, government and military system above county and regiment level.

3 For passenger whose residential identity is stolen or lost outside his registered permanent residence, a temporary identity card with the passenger’s photo issued by the Public Security Bureau of the place where the incidence took place or where the lost was reported can be used for boarding.

 Passengers at an old age (according to the mandatory age for retirement), can use the temporary Identity Certificate issued by the host organization, their original work unit or units where their children or spouses work for (the units shall be above county and regiment (including) level); passengers below 16 years’ old shall use student’ identity card, residence booklet or a identity certificate issued by the Public Security Bureau of their born place.

III.What do Liquid Articles refer to?

Liquid item refers to liquid, gel and spray (aerosol) articles, mainly including the following:

 Common drinks, e.g.: mineral water, drinks, soup and syrup;

 Sauced food or sauces, e.g. canned fruit;

 Common cosmetics, e.g.: cream, skin moisturizer, skin oil, perfume and other similar cosmetics;

 Spray and contents in aerosol containers, e.g.: shaving foam, body spray, mousse and etc.

 Creams, e.g.: toothpaste, cleanser and etc.

 Gel, e.g.: hair and bath products

 Any solution or article with a similar consistency, e.g. contact lens solution, nourishing oral liquids, etc..

IV. Issues Concerning Bringing Liquid Articles on Domestic Flights

1.Only a small amount of cosmetics (shampoo and body shampoo excluded) intended for personal travel use, one bottle of each variety, are allowed to be carried onto the plane. The volume of each container must be limited to 100 ml. All should be placed in an independent bag and will be opened/unsealed for inspection. Pay attention to the following items when you prepare for your trip:

If the cosmetics are not to be used during the flight, please put them in check-in baggage;

 If a cosmetic container is larger than 100 ml, please change it into one smaller than 100 ml, or put it in your check-in baggage;

In case the cosmetic is intended as a gift and not to be unsealed, please put it in check-in baggage because all carry-on cosmetics must be opened for inspection;

2. Alcoholic drinks are prohibited to be taken as carry-on and must be put in check-in baggage.

3. If you have a baby, please report it to the airline company when you are buying tickets. The company will offer liquid dairy products for free. As liquid dairy products are prohibited for carry-on, please put them in check-in baggage, or dispose of them yourself before entering security inspection.

4.Diabetes sufferers or other patients may carry necessary liquid products with them, such as liquid medicine and liquid sugar-free food, but only in dosages sufficient for use during the flight. A certificate provided by either a hospital or a doctor is required in such a case.

V. Issues Concerning Bringing Liquid Articles on International Flights

1.Only a small amount of cosmetics (shampoo and body shampoo excluded) intended for personal travel use, one bottle of each variety, are allowed to be carried onto the plane.

If the liquid articles are not to be used during the flight, please put them in check-in baggage; 

Alcoholic drinks shall be put in check-in baggage.

 If a liquid container is larger than 100 ml, please change it into one smaller than 100 ml, or put it in your check-in baggage;

2.Containers of liquid items should be packed in a transparent plastic bag that can be re-sealed. The volume of the bag should be no more than 1 liter. Each passenger can carry only one bag on one flight. Bags that exceed the limitations should be checked. Please pay attention to the following items before traveling:

The recommend size of the reseal-able plastic bag is 20 (cm) x 20 (cm).

Each passenger can only carry one above-said plastic bag, and the exceeding part shall be packed into the check-in baggage.

Liquid item shall be placed in the plastic bag loosely. Under normal circumstances, a plastic bag with a volume of 1 liter (L) can accommodate 5 containers with a volume of 100 milliliter (ml).

Plastic bags that with liquid articles inside shall go through security check alone. Please take the plastic bag out of your carry-on baggage when going through security check and hand it to the security check personnel for inspection.

Goods purchased in duty-free stores or on the flights shall be placed into a sealed transparent plastic bag and shall not be opened by passengers themselves.

A.Please do not open the packing on your own, otherwise you shall not be allowed to bring the item you bought when transferring beyond borders or passing stops.

B. Please keep properly your shopping evidence, otherwise you shall not be allowed to bring the item you bought when transferring beyond borders or passing stops.

C.Please inform the sales person your stopping place and destination, and learn from him about the regulations on prohibited liquid items of the country or area of the stopping place and destination.

D. A certain amount of liquid dairy products for passengers with babies and essential liquid medicine for diabetic patients or other patients can be carried along with the passengers after security check.

Passengers with any liquid articles outside the above cases that are indefinable should put them in check-in baggage.

VI. How to Carry Electronic Equipment Containing Lithium Batteries?

According to the safety requirements for all passenger property, please comply with regulations concerning the carrying of lithium electronic devices and lithium batteries, since lithium batteries, if improperly used, may cause a flight accident. Pay attention to the following issues:

Please put the electronic equipments (such as digital camera, video camera, interphone, electric shaver and etc.) into your carry-on baggage and do not pack them into the checked baggage.

Please put electronic devices (such as digital cameras, video cameras, intercoms and electric shavers) in carry-on baggage and not in check-in baggage.

Please install the battery into the electronic device. Please prevent such devices from switching on accidentally during the flight.

Standby lithium batteries (including charge pal) are prohibited in checked baggage; if you need to bring a standby battery with a rated energy of 100wh—160wh and equipments containing lithium batteries, you shall have to obtain the approval of the airline companies, and each passenger can carry two standby batteries at most. Standby batteries with a rated energy exceeding 160wh and equipments containing lithium batteries are prohibited to carry.
