Passenger Service - Instructions and Notice - Safety Check
1.Relevant regulations of the Civil Aviation Administration of China
(1) Relevant provisions on the prohibition of carrying and consigning items.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China stipulates that it is prohibited to carry or check in the following items on civil aviation flights within China:
① Firearms, military or police equipment (including main components) and their imitations;
② Explosives, such as ammunition, pyrotechnic products, blasting equipment, and their replicas;
③ Controlled cutting tools;
④ Flammable and explosive materials, such as matches, lighters (gas), alcohol, paint, gasoline, kerosene, benzene, rosin oil, tobacco pad, etc;
⑤ Corrosive substances, such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, liquid batteries, etc;
⑥ Toxic substances, such as cyanide, highly toxic pesticides, etc;
⑦ Radioactive materials, such as radioactive isotopes, etc;
⑧ Other items that pose a threat to flight safety, such as items with strong irritating odors or strongly magnetized materials that may interfere with the normal operation of on-board instruments.
(2) Relevant regulations on items that are prohibited from being carried but can be checked in.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China stipulates that it is prohibited to carry the following items with you on civil aviation flights within China, but they can be checked in as checked baggage. Items that passengers are prohibited from carrying on board but can be checked in as luggage include:
① Life knives such as kitchen knives, fruit knives, large scissors, razors, etc;
② Professional knives such as surgical knives, slaughtering knives, carving knives, etc;
③ Knives, spears, and swords used for performances in cultural and artistic units;
④ Sports equipment such as walking sticks with weights or spikes, iron headed hiking sticks, baseball bats, etc;
⑤ And tools such as axes, chisels, hammers, cones, wrenches, and other sharp and blunt tools that can be used to endanger the personal safety of aircraft or others;
⑥ Liquid items that exceed the type or total limit that can be carried with you.
(3) Regulations on Carrying Liquid Items
A. Taking international and regional flights
① Passengers traveling on international or regional flights originating from airports within China shall not carry liquid items with a volume exceeding 100 milliliters per piece. If the volume of the container exceeds 100 milliliters, even if the container is not filled with liquid, it is not allowed to be carried with you and must be handed over.
The container for storing liquid items should be placed in a transparent plastic bag with a maximum capacity of no more than 1 liter (L) and can be resealed. Each passenger is only allowed to carry one transparent plastic bag at a time, and any excess should be handed over.
Transparent plastic bags containing liquid items should undergo separate safety checks.
② Items purchased at duty-free shops in the terminal or on board should be stored in sealed transparent plastic bags and cannot be opened by oneself. Passengers should keep their shopping vouchers for verification.
③ Passengers accompanying infants can carry liquid dairy products, and patients with diabetes or other diseases can carry necessary liquid drugs in appropriate amount after safety inspection.
④ Passengers who violate the above regulations and cause consequences such as missed flights shall bear their own responsibility.
B. Taking domestic flights
① Passengers traveling on domestic flights are prohibited from carrying liquid items with them, but they can be transported and their packaging should comply with relevant regulations for civil aviation transportation.
② Passengers carrying a small amount of personal travel cosmetics are limited to one piece per type, with a container volume not exceeding 100 milliliters, and should be placed in a separate bag for bottle opening inspection.
③ Passengers from overseas who need to stop or transfer at airports within China should place their duty-free liquid goods in a transparent plastic bag that is intact and sealed, and present a shopping voucher. After confirming through security checks, they can only carry them.
④ Passengers with infants can apply to the airline when purchasing tickets, and the airline will provide free liquid dairy products on board; Necessary liquid materials carried by diabetes patients or other patients shall be delivered to the crew for safekeeping after being confirmed by safety inspection.
⑤ Passengers who violate the above regulations and cause consequences such as missed flights shall bear their own responsibility.
(4) Regulations on Lighters and Matches
Passengers are prohibited from carrying lighters and matches with them on civil aviation flights (including international/regional flights and domestic flights), and they are also not allowed to be checked in their checked baggage.
(5) Regulations on Carrying Lithium Batteries on Civil Aviation Flights
① It is not allowed to carry lithium batteries in checked luggage, and they can only be carried with you.
② Passengers can carry consumer electronic devices (watches, calculators, cameras, mobile phones, laptops, camcorders, etc.) containing lithium or lithium-ion battery cells or batteries for personal use.
③ The backup battery must be individually protected to prevent short circuits and can only be carried in hand luggage. Each person is limited to 2 spare batteries.
2. How to quickly pass the security check?
To ensure that you pass the security check as soon as possible, please cooperate as follows:
(1) Please do not carry prohibited items;
(2) Please put life knives in your luggage for check-in or do not carry them.
(3) Please do not carry liquid items such as beverages, as well as restricted items such as matches and lighters;
(4) When checking in, try to check in your luggage as much as possible;
(5) Prepare relevant flight documents before undergoing security checks;
(6) If you encounter difficulties, please promptly raise them to the security personnel and seek help;

 3.What does liquid object refer to?
Liquid articles refer to liquid, gel and spray (aerosol) articles, mainly including:
(1) Common beverages, such as mineral water, beverages, soups, and syrups;
(2) Food or sauces with sauces, such as canned fruits;
(3) Common cosmetics, such as cream, skin care lotion, skin care oil, perfume and other similar cosmetics;
(4) Spray and contents of compressed containers, such as shaving foam, deodorant spray, mousse, etc;
(5) Pasty items, such as toothpaste, facial cleansers, etc;
(6) Gel, such as gel products for hair styling and bathing;
(7) Any solution or item with similar consistency, such as contact lens solution, nutritional oral solution, etc.
4. What are the precautions for carrying liquid items on domestic flights?
(1) Only a small amount of personal travel cosmetics (excluding shampoo and shower gel) can be carried, with a limit of one piece per type of cosmetics. The container volume should not exceed 100 milliliters (ml) and should be placed in a separate bag for bottle opening inspection. Please note and confirm the following when preparing for your trip:
Is the cosmetics carried necessary for travel by plane? If not, please check them in your checked baggage.
Is the container volume of each cosmetic product less than 100 milliliters (ml). If not, please replace it with a container smaller than 100 milliliters or put it in checked baggage for check-in.
If you do not want your cosmetics’ packaging to be damaged because they will be given to others,please put them in your checked in luggage. The cosmetics carried with you are needed to undergo bottle opening inspection.
Alcohol items are not allowed to be carried with you, please put them in checked baggage for check-in.
(2)If you have a baby accompanying you, please apply to your airline when purchasing the ticket, and the airline will provide free liquid dairy products. The liquid dairy products you prepare on your own will not be allowed to be carried with you. You can put them in checked baggage or handle them yourself before undergoing security checks.
(3) Patients with diabetes or other patients can carry necessary liquid substances, such as liquid medicine, liquid sugar free food, etc., but the quantity should be limited to the amount used during the flight travel, and the certificate of the hospital or doctor should be presented.
(4) If you come from overseas and need to transfer to a domestic flight in China at an airport, and you carry tax-free liquid goods purchased overseas, please place the liquid goods in a transparent plastic bag that is intact and sealed, and provide a shopping voucher. If the sealed plastic bag containing liquid items is damaged or you are unable to provide a shopping voucher, you will not be allowed to carry the corresponding liquid items with you on domestic flights, unless the container capacity, type, etc. of the liquid items you carry meet the relevant requirements for domestic flights.
(5) In addition to the above issues, if you still have any uncertain liquid items, please put them in your checked baggage for check-in.
5.How to carry electronic devices equipped with lithium batteries?
Improper transportation of lithium batteries may cause aviation accidents. To ensure the safety of your and others' lives and property, please comply with relevant regulations when carrying lithium battery powered equipment and lithium batteries, and pay attention to the following matters;
(1) Please place electrical devices (such as digital cameras, cameras, walkie talkies, electric shavers, etc.) in your hand luggage and not in checked baggage.
(2) Please install the battery on the electrical device and take protective measures to avoid accidental start-up of the device while carrying it.
(3) If you carry a backup battery, please provide cutting out protection for each individual backup battery, such as sticking exposed electrodes with adhesive tape or placing each battery separately in a plastic bag or protective bag.
6. Relevant regulations on boarding documents
Effective identification documents for flight: Resident ID cards, temporary ID cards, military documents of Chinese passengers, travel documents of Hong Kong and Macao residents and Taiwanese compatriots, passports, travel permits, diplomatic credentials of foreign passengers, etc. The student ID or household registration book of minors under the age of sixteen, and the identity certificate issued by the local public security organ where the household registration is located. If the resident identity card is lost, apply for a temporary resident identity card. Driver's license and social security card are not valid boarding documents.
