I. Passenger Services - Notice for passengers - Travel Assistance
1.Important reminder:
（1） To ensure smooth boarding, it is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport 120 minutes before the departure of their flight to complete the relevant procedures.
（2） According to the "Evaluation Index System for Service Quality of Chinese Civil Airports", Hohhot Airport uses zoning broadcasting.
The broadcast service for passengers is only provided at the boarding gate area for their flights. Please wait in the boarding gate area and pay attention to any changes to the boarding gate to avoid missed flights.
（3） Terminal opening and closing time:
Opening time: 120 minutes before the departure of the first flight.
Closing time: The first floor is the end of the day's arrival flight; The second floor marks the end of the departure flight on the same day.
2. Check in time for domestic flights:
（1） The time when the self-service check-in counter starts processing check-in procedures is 6 hours before the scheduled departure of the passenger's flight;
（2） The time for the manual check-in counter to start processing check-in procedures is 90 minutes before the first departure flight from Hohhot Airport (except for Spring Airlines and Jiuyuan Airlines flights);
（3） The flights of Spring Airlines and Jiuyuan Airlines are checked in at the manual check-in counter, with a processing time of 120 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight;
（4） The deadline for checking in for all flights is 35 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight.

3.Domestic flight baggage check-in time:
(1) The time for checking in luggage is: it can be processed before the flight cut-off (except for Spring airlines,  Jiuyuan airlines, and Air China flights);
(2) The check-in time for luggage on Spring and Airlines and Jiuyuan Airlines flights is 35 to 120 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight.
(3) The check-in time for luggage on Air China flights is 35 to 150 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight (if the first departing flight at the airport is an Air China flight, it is 35 to 90 minutes in advance).
(4) Boarding time: 35 to 45 minutes before the scheduled flight departure (classified by aircraft type).
(5) Gate closing time: 15 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight.

 6.Freight business hours:
(1) Delivery time: 7:00 to 23:00. The collection service for this flight will be suspended 2 and a half hours before departure.
(2) Pickup time: 7:00 to the end of the night flight on the same day, and the pick-up service for the flight will begin 3 hours after the flight lands.

7. Waiting time for security check queue:
95% of domestic flight passengers queue up for security checks for no more than 12 minutes; 95% of international flight passengers queue up for security checks for no more than 10 minutes. This commitment is a specific commitment made by Hohhot Baita International Airport within its own responsibilities, authorities, and control scope. In certain extreme situations (such as large-scale flight delays, alternate landings, sudden equipment failures due to other passengers' own reasons, etc.), accidents, or situations where relevant national emergency regulations are implemented, it may be impossible to achieve some of the contents of this commitment. In these situations, Hohhot Baita International Airport will do its best to minimize the inconvenience to passengers.
Note: The waiting time in queue refers to the time from the beginning of queuing to the verification counter after passengers enter the security check waiting area, excluding the time when passengers receive security checks.

Oversized luggage instructions:
Dear passengers, oversized luggage is prohibited from being brought into the cabin! To adhere to the principle of "putting people first and life first", ensure absolute safety of aviation operations, and ensure absolute safety of people's lives, please cooperate with airline or airport staff to check in your luggage in advance. If it is found during inspection before security check or boarding, it will take more time to return to the check-in, which may cause missed flights.
